The only issue we had were tiny little bugs in the kitchen - you can't leave a crumb of food out or they come along pretty quickly. These were ONLY in the kitchen. We bought some all cleanser spray and remained diligent about the cleaning and we were fine. Otherwise... the place was very clean, really spacious, . Be sure to bring/buy bug spray because the mosquitoes at night and early morning are vicious - but that has nothing to do with the property - that's just Cozumel living. Mosquitoes do make it difficult to enjoy the balcony at night and early morning - but the view from the living room and master bed is fantastic! The walls are a little thin - we could hear movement of furniture above us in the morning. We'll go back in the future for sure. Unit 303 far exceeded our expectations. Besides being a comfortable unit, the decor added so much charm and a true feeling of Mexico. The washer/dryer, two bathrooms, balcony, phone service to the US, bottled water, and pool were wonderful amenities. We will return! The cantamar units are less than a mile north of town. When I stay there I usually just hike into town. The views are great and the snorkeling there is very fine. It is beautiful! The interior is nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was plenty of room for me, my Husband and our three teenagers. Everyone had a blast! I can't say enough about this place or Fulvio who was very helpful. The snorkeling right off the dock is excellent and we have yet to find better snorkeling off the shore in Cozumel. We hope to return soon!
