Overall best location in Cozumel and 5140 is best location at Residencias Reef. The beach is where you want to be. Will be booking earlier nexct year and stay longer. Mabe all winter!
Have used at home in Cozumel several times to rent condos at Residencias Reef. I have been coming to Coz for the last 25 years almost every year and this is the best location for diving and beach activites. Very well maintained property and staff are very professional and polite. I will be back soon!
Our unit was very spacious, well-furnished and had a beautiful deck facing the palm trees and water. It was kept spotless by the housekeeper who visited daily. We were VERY pleased.
We brought out 3 children for spring break and were pleasantly surprised. The grounds were immaculate and the staff was helpful and courteous. The maid service was awesome. You never had to worry about your safety or the safety of things in your condo. The access of the pool and beach from this condo are first class! Wish the beach was more sandy as was described but the kids enjoyed the pool. I HIGHLY recommend that you get a massage from the massagecozumel people, came right to our condo and provided outstanding service and professionalism. We will be back!
My only negative observation was the need to have both couches cleaned. Other than that minor complaint - the place was awesome and I will use it again.
The property was as nice as always. I accidently called the property manager who was on vacation at the time, and he even tried to help me rather than refer me to someone else! I HIGHLY recommend it!
This the the fourth year we have rented through at home in cozumel. Annette in reservations is always excellent. This is the third time we have rented 5140 and we love this unit. I have also recommended you to others and they have rented also. We are renting Villa Iguana in May with a group of friend. Thanks for the great service. We had a fabulous stay at Residencias Reef 5140! The condo was everything we expected from the website and being there was even better than we expected. Staff members were all friendly and helpful, the condo was comfortable and clean and the beach was amazing. This was our first trip to Cozumel and we'll be back and we'll look at Cozumel at Home and Residencias Reef in particular for a place to stay again. The only thing we wish we had known in advance was to be sure to book a rental car online before we arrived -- we would have saved at least $200 and staying on the south side of the island, we really needed a car. The one thing we wish was different at the condo was the couches -- because they're sleeper sofas, they aren't the most comfortable couches for sitting -- but then again, we weren't sitting around much anyway. Overall, a fabulous vacation in a fabulous place. We highly recommend staying here!
this is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property and the 2nd in this unit. From reservations(five star too) to checkout everything was perfect.
For a diving family, this is simply the best property in Cozumel. You get to avoid the long boat rides since the best reefs are just minutes away. The wraparound porch and table provide a perfect place for breakfast and sunset watching. Since it has a capable washer and dryer - you can pack light. Very spacious and friendly.
The only complaint that we had was the wedding on Friday night. The music was aimed at our door and did´t stop until 1.30AM. We also were not able to use the pool where the wedding was held Thursday or Friday. Other than that we had a good time.

Located right on the beach. Comfortable stay and a good time was had by all. Only negative: lack of a food store/market close by, so be prepared to stock up or trek down town
Very nice place to stay. Pool and ocean are right outside the door. Very quiet and private but can walk five minutes in either direction for water activity snorkeling, etc. The actual condo was nicer than we thought it would be - large modern rooms, nice kitchen and wonderful wrap around tiled patio. Step down onto the beach or a few steps to the right leads to the pool, which was never crowded. Views were wonderful. Only a few items to be aware of - probably about 15-20 minute tax ride to downtown area - so if you are looking to be close to the town and nightlife this may not be the best choice. Also not much in the way of food. If you plan ahead and go shopping and furnish the unit you will be fine. Apparently most places in this area are all inclusive. There was a Carlos and Charlies just a short walk to the left with pretty good food and drinks. Finally there isn't a swimming beach right in front of place - it is coral. However, 100 yards or so to the left is San Francisco Beach. We stayed half a week near town and half the week in this condo which worked out well for us.
We have recommended Residentcias Reef Condos to our friend's and family. The pool, the view, staff and cleanliness is superb. Can't wait to return in July.
