Overall we had a great time at Cozumel caribe and stayed their for 7 nights on our honeymoon. I liked that the location was not in town and was very quiet for the most part except when the cruise ships brought in people to do the rock climbing and snorkeling on the property but they were generally gone by 3 or 4 pm and we were so busy going other places on the island that it didnt bother us at all really. There isnt much lighting around the property at night so that is something to be aware of, but something we were not bothered by. The railing on the balcony also was a little lower that it should be so i wouldnt recommend children to be on the balcony. The snorkeling right by the condo was some of the best we have seen on the island. Saw alot of diversity with fish, stingrays, and corals. The view was incredible and we loved waking up to the sunrise. The space was perfect for us and plenty big enough that we felt comfortable for the week and never felt cramped or that we were on top of eachother. We loved having a refridgerator, coffee maker, and microwave. We bought $50 worth of groceries at the beginning of the week and saved alot of money eating in our condo for some breakfasts and lunches. Plus it was just more convenient making sandwiches and having lunch on the balcony than driving around trying to find a restaurant. It was nice having American cable TV that we could watch and relax with at the end of the day although some channels didnt come through, it didnt matter when you are exhausted from a long day of eating, swimming, and sun. In conclusion, we were satisfied with this condo and the price of it as well, and are already planning our next trip to cozumel.
I loved everything about our stay at C0321. The room was beautiful, the view was incredible, the people were so helpful.
During our 10 day vacation to Cozumel, we found this place to be very homey. While the unit is about 2 miles of the downtown area, it is a nice, safe walk, but taking a taxi is really easy. While we were there, we found it to be very quiet. The view from our unit was breathtaking, the bed comfortable and the kitchen perfect for those that want a culinary experience. This place was just adorable and will be looking forward to returning next year.
I had a very nice experience at Club Cozumel Caribe. The facility was better than I expected. Don't be fooled by the outer initial appearance. The inside lobby and grounds are beautiful. The room was very clean with a gorgeous view. The staff was hospitable as well as helpfull. I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I wanted to get away from it all and this was a wonderful location. We had never been to Cozumel, and I found this on the net. Driving up, we were considerably concerned with its exterior appearence, but once on the property and in the room, everything was very nice. The Condo itself was amazing with an incredible view. The North side of the isalnd was much quieter and easily accessable to everything. The kitchenette was well stocked with all your cooking needs. Purified water, internet, and a cell phone was also available in the room and a great blessing. The property was quiet until around 9am when all of the Cruise ships landed and the taxis brought vast amounts of people to the beach and climbing walls. Restaurant on site was wonderful. Ms. Nancy, the hostess was a wonderful source of information and help. The beach was pleasent with various types of lounge chairs and the pools were clean and well maintained. The flowers and grounds were great. The only real work that the property needs is the main residential building is in ROUGH shape from an outward appearence, but once past the hurricane repairs still being done, Club Cozumel is highly recommended and we anticipate making this a return vacation spot for the two of us. On a side note, probably not recommended for younger children as the balcony really is not safe and the beaches with sand are limited.
The destruction from Hurricane Wilma was still evident, but everything worked and the staff were more then helpful with any requests. It was totally relaxing and we were enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean, sun bathing by the pools and the food was excellent. We would recommend the facility and plan to return as soon as possible.
We were a little shocked upon first driving into Cozumel Caribe. You see I had stayed there a couple of times before when it was an all inclusive hotel. I didn't expect to see the damage the hurricane had done. But, soon saw that it was just the outside. The room was as lovely as I remembered it. I enjoyed doing my own cooking in the kitchen. The view of the ocean was fantastic. The beach, very nice and the snorkeling supper! We snorkeled every day! We want to return very soon!
Very quiet and relaxing. The condo was clean and had excellent views. You will probably need a car to stay here, as it is a ways from downtown. Not a problem, as a car is really nice for exploring the island, including the beautiful east side.
We had stayed at the property when it was the Club Cozumel Caribe. We had met Don Franindo Barbachano the owner. We loved the property and its closeness to down town San Migel. The snorkelling was great. However, on our stay in the condos there were too few people to feel safe and the beach was not maintained. The beach chairs were not clean and the area was under construction. Also too many kids were brought in from cruise ships. The property has great potential but needs work on the beach, restuarant and items outside the room. The room was great. CB
